Join us this Wednesday! “Stir the Pot” is a monthly, community-wide, interactive cooking pot luck
and food education series curated by Nadine Nelson, Global Local Gourmet, in collaboration with the
New Haven Food Policy Council.
This Wednesday at CitySeed, Sanctuary Kitchen’s refugee cook Fatema will demonstrate how to make,
and then share, muhammara — a traditional Syrian dip made of red pepper, walnut and bulgur.
Following the pot luck dinner, the reading will be:
“How Food Can Impact Communities” by Caleb Zigas, Executive Director of La Cocina.

If you’ve ever wanted a place to connect with people around food, a space for honest conversation and
community, then you should join us this Wednesday!
