Barberry Hill Farm

Barberry Hill’s beautiful produce and flowers can be found every Saturday at our Wooster Square market.

About the Farm

Barberry Hill Farm started in 1910 as primarily a sheep farm.  It is now fourth-generation family-owned and has expanded into greenhouse produce, cut flowers and seasonal field fruit and vegetables.  The small family farm has a farm stand on Rt. 1 in Madison and attends several farmers markets in CT.  Barberry Hill Farm also hosts events and weddings, as well as the now-famous Dinners At The Farm.  They offer a farm share program in which you can become a member of the farm and receive weekly fresh-picked produce.  They use a unique growing practice which they call forest floor farming.  They use no pesticides, herbicides or fungicides on any fruits, vegetables or flowers.  They are open seasonally every day from 9-6 and are pleased to share their pastoral surroundings with their supportive community.

Barberry Hill Farm is one of the featured farms for the series, Dinners at the Farm. Find tickets here.
