Since the start of the season, market-goers have been signing up to be Friends of the Market.
Friends of the Market raises funds for CitySeed’s Double Value Program that doubles the value of SNAP/Food Stamps at our markets. Friends of the Market receive a newly designed CitySeed tote and opportunities for free market tokens, raffle entries, special offers and 10% off Sanctuary Kitchen and CitySeed cooking classes.
Friends of the Market customers are entered into four seasonal raffles. The Winter Raffle features a market basket filled with farmers market goods including Bourbon Maple Syrup and honey from Sugar Maple, dog biscuits and dried sweet potatoes treats from Best Buddies’ Biscuits, tomato puree and hot pepper jelly from Riverbank farm, pickles from Jane’s Good Food, greens from Star Light Gardens, and a gift card to Coco Tamales.
