When: Wednesday, September 28, 4:30-6:30pm

Where: Kitchen at CitySeed, 817 Grand Ave New Haven, CT

What: Its back to school time and that means that lunches and dinners take on new schedules and flavors for many families. Join Chef Suzanne Beck, from Bloodroot vegetarian restaurant, to help kids and parents prepare veggie-forward delicious lunches and dishes. Basic knife, kitchen and food preparation skills will help both the child and adult have safe fun in the kitchen together. Children and parents will end the class with a sit-down meal together and take home a copy of the New Haven Cooks Cookbook!

There will be light refreshments served for all at the beginning of class.

EACH TICKET IS FOR A PARENT/GUARDIAN PLUS CHILD (2 participants per ticket). Each child must be accompanied by a parent/guardian.

This class is ideal for children between the ages of 6-10. Please call if you have any questions!

Ticket Info: There are four sliding scale scholarship tickets available to this event intended for low-income New Haven community residents. Location & Parking info: This event will take place in the Kitchen at CitySeed located at 817 Grand Ave, New Haven. Free street parking is available along Grand Avenue and surround streets as marked.
