Afghan Dinner and Conversation with Sanctuary Kitchen Chefs and Turquoise Mountain’s Shoshana Stewart

Pick up a traditional Afghan dinner prepared by chefs Homa and Maleka, and then join us for a virtual conversation with them and Shoshana Stewart! Shoshana is a Senior Fellow at the Yale Jackson Institute for Global Affairs, and the CEO of Turquoise Mountain, an NGO which works in Afghanistan to restore built heritage in Murad Khani and Bamiyan, support local communities, revive the country’s historic craft traditions, and generate incomes for artisans. Turquoise Mountain also works with refugee artisans in Myanmar, Saudi Arabia, and Jordan.
